Who I am?

At Trade Site Wales, I am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of my visitors to this business website. My aim is to be completely transparent, honest and open about how I use any customer information that is collected by this website, either through the use of cookies or interactive visitor contact forms.

I want you to know that Trade Site Wales does not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing or financial purposes. Period. But just in case you might not believe me, in this Privacy Policy, I have provided as much detailed information on when and how I collect your personal information, how I use it, and how I make sure to keep safe and secure. So sit back, relax and please read on.

Types of Data I collect

Website Cookies

My website only uses cookies to collect information about the behaviour and activity of my visitors to help me improve my website and the experience for my customers using it. A cookie, in a very basic definition, is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on a user’s computer by their web browser whilst browsing a website. They can be used in a multitude of ways, but in most cases are stored as a way to learn more information about the way a visitor interacts with a website, how they navigated it and why they might have turned away before completing their initial reason for visiting. For example, making a purchase, booking a service or contacting the business. The cookie from website includes information about pages viewed, services looked at and the general customer journey around my website.

Google Analytics

When someone visits, www.tradesitewales.co.uk I use a third party service called Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of my visitors behaviour and patterns. I do this to find out things such as the number of visitor to various parts of my site, where visitors drop off on their path around my website – this helps me understand where potential problems or issues are with pages or features on my website, and to track the efficiency and returns of my outside advertisements and marketing campaigns that are bringing new visitors to my website. All of the previous information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone by any personal means. I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting my website.

Mailing Lists

I currently do not collect any of my visitor information through any form of mailing lists or marketing. However if I do decide at a later point to offer this service this is how I will collect visitor information, what I will do with it, and how I will keep it safe and secure.

If you subscribe to my monthly newsletter I will use your information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked me to tell you about; to contact you if I need to obtain or provide additional information; to check my records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. I will never rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

I will use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver my newsletter. I gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve my e-newsletter. For more information on this, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing me, Thomas Fide, to remove you from any mailing list you have subscribed to.

Third Parties

I do not share any information collected from this website with any third party. If for the unlikely reason this changes, it will be explained in full detail here.

Access to your personal information

Regardless of whether you are a visitor using my website and emailing me with an enquiry for any of the services I offer, or a subscriber to my email newsletter – You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to me who acts as the data protection officer for Trade Site Wales, [Thomas Fide} at [privacy@tradesitewales.co.uk]
